Weekend TI.M.E. - 16th-17th November

During the weekend of November 16th-17th, the UNIMC Visual TICASS team with the support of the UNIMC trainees of Cultural Heritage, developed two full days of educational and artistic activities.
On the morning of the 16th we held a training course for teachers of kindergarten within the exhibition TI.M.E. discussing the importance of creativity and the different ways that children use to express themselves.
On the afternnon of the 16th and the morning of the 17th, we carried out activities with primary schools, involving kids, parents, and teachers in the exploration of "infinite worlds" through the artcrafts made by Italian and Kenyan children. We also explored "Rapprochement with the Public Space" and "Opportunities" exhibitions by discovering multiple narratives. Furthermore, UNIMC and Pwani teams carried out qualitative interviews with children and university students to increase reflection and research on the use and meanings of images in public space.
