Exhibition project introduces artwork of contemporary artists dealing with visual codes and symbolics using it as an element of imaginative story. Technology of paging is blurring, vision of simple deion of a form or ideal future state is disappearing. Six selected art projects use abstraction, minimalism or conceptual tendencies to reflect not only the environment of its origin, but also cultural identification which directly or indirectly affects its authors themselves.
The exhibition opens to its audience two independent creative approaches in contemporary art and does not aim to present a whole range of possibilities; on the contrary, it builds on the simple principle of mutual distinction of chosen approaches and personal curatorial experience from abroad internships. It presents abstract work (Elisa Muliere, Małgorzata Szymankiewicz, Aniela Wesoły) characterized by its objectlessness and poetics which uses the means of expression of colors, lines and structures, and conceptual art (Daniel Hanzlík, Kitso Lynn Lelliott, Brian Wekesa) working with pictorial symbol bearing an idea dealing with various cultural and social topics.

Curator: Adéla Machová (Czech Republic)
