Professor Muoki is experienced in the intersection between religion and health at societal level with a specific bias to oral history methodology and the HIV/AIDS Epidemic. He has worked in South Africa and Kenya on various projects and positions. Within TICASS, Muoki will be particularly resourceful in the analysis of culture as a factor in conceptualizing meanings of pictures and media forms.
"The TICASS project will expose me to the interdisciplinary study of media, public spaces, pictures, and images as well as the varied perceptions and meanings. It will allow me also to reflect on how Religion and culture are, if at all, factors in societal consciousness of its images, pictures, and representations."
