The Polish University Abroad in London will be engaged in investigation into perception of digital images, especially space transformations (social/virtual space) from the point of view of aesthetics and social sciences; in investigation on imaging in transfer space, referring to power relations in public spaces, and to imaging power relations in non-spaces. The goals are: to prepare the analysis of space transformation, power relations in imaging in public space, and imaging power relations in non-places.
PUNO publishes the scientific journal “Zeszyty Naukowe” and organizes many scientific conferences dedicated to contemporary educational, pedagogical, psychological, and media issues.
The team has sufficient resources to offer a suitable environment for work, providing access to the gallery/presentation space in the University building in London. These resources will allow for the research and innovative activities related to the TICASS project.
