D 5.6 - Final show opening
The final show of project TICASS titled RAPPROCHEMENT WITH THE PUBLIC SPACE arose from a series of exhibitions organized during each project’s secondment. The final show was originally planned as a final exhibition traveling physically to the partners institution, containing images on boards, objects and final text about focus of exhibition presented to public. However, the outbreak of the Covid-19 made it impossible, and pandemic forced the project team to reconsider to the form of the show.
The Board for Arts, leaded by Dr. Adela Machova from Jan Evangelisty Purkyne University in Usti nad Labem (Czech Republic), has agreed on moving the final show to the virtual space. This idea has found also endorsement of the Project Board.
The idea to create the virtual Final Show and to prepare the online gallery open for public proved important step and factual moment for mediation of visual images during the pandemic years (2020 and 2021). It is still not entirely possible to travel and work with the audience directly and to convey visual images of face to face. The online space allows to us to show the output to public.
