At the end of the first activities within the research project conducted in Szczecin, Poland, the Conference on the Theory of Visuality from the Intercultural Perspective was organized. During the preceding weeks, researchers were sharing their knowledge, discussing various issues related to cultural, historical, personal, political, and economical perspectives of understanding visual communication in everyday life as well as in art. The Conference collected presentations by researchers participating in the project and collaborating within the subject of interest, showing different educational, artistic, curatorial, sociological, and philosophical grasps on visual communication, iconic languages, and on art in various cultural and social conditions.
