MA Karolina Zawislak from the Academy of Art in Szczecin presented the lecture on copyrights, especially in the European Union and in Kenya. In both cases the law on the copyrights is based on the Berne Convention on Copyrights, which gives the general framework. 

Zawislak underlined exceptions from the law and the importance of the rule of fair use in Kenya.
